CHARITY & DONATIONS

Charity is a fundamental pillar in Islam, emphasizing compassion, generosity, and the purification of one’s wealth. Both mandatory (Zakat) and voluntary (Sadaqah) forms of giving are encouraged, with the Quran highlighting that giving is a righteous deed that purifies wealth, strengthens the community, and earns divine blessings.

The Quran frequently commands believers to be charitable and treat others with kindness, especially the vulnerable. It frames giving as a way to seek reward from Allah, and to remember that one’s good deeds are seen and will be rewarded.

Al-Ansar Islamic Movement engages in organizing community outreach events and food drives where surronding community benefits from charitable distribution of food items. We partner with community and organizations to source for food items, clothing and essential items that can be shared with other community members who are in need. We enjon you to support this initiative and join out cause.

And the example of those who donate their wealth, seeking Allah’s pleasure and believing the reward is certain,1 is that of a garden on a fertile hill: when heavy rain falls, it yields up twice its normal produce. If no heavy rain falls, a drizzle is sufficient. And Allah is All-Seeing of what you do.
