Laylatul Qadr, also known as the Night of Power, is the most sacred night in Islam. It is the night when the Quran was revealed to Prophet Muhammad, bringing guidance and mercy to humanity. Allah describes this night in the Quran as “better than a thousand months” (Surah Al-Qadr 97:3), meaning that worship during this single night is more rewarding than worshiping for over 83 years.
For Muslims, Laylatul Qadr is an opportunity for immense spiritual growth, forgiveness, and blessings. It is a night of deep reflection, intense prayer, and seeking Allah’s mercy. Understanding the significance of this night and preparing for it can transform our faith and connection with Allah.
The Prophet Muhammad said:
Whoever stands in prayer on the Night of Decree out of faith and hope for reward, his past sins will be forgiven. (Bukhari & Muslim)
This powerful night is an opportunity to seek Allah’s forgiveness, ask for guidance, and strengthen our faith.
